How to Make Ultimate Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

  • Trim the Pork: Begin by trimming excess fat from your pork shoulder, leaving some for flavor.
  • Mix the Rub: Combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne in a bowl, then rub it all over the pork.
  • Place in Slow Cooker: Lay the seasoned pork shoulder in the slow cooker. Pour apple cider vinegar around the meat.
