  • 1 package Frozen Cheese Ravioli No need to thaw
  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 pound Ground Beef or Italian Sausage Optional, brown before layering
  • 1 cup Ricotta Cheese Optional for added creaminess
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese For the top layer
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Enhances flavors
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning Boosts herbal notes

Instructions

Cooking Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or Italian sausage until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  • Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of your greased baking dish.
  • Layer frozen ravioli evenly on top of the sauce.
  • Spoon more marinara sauce over the ravioli, and if using meat, sprinkle it on along with dollops of ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  • Continue layering until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  • Let the casserole rest for 5-10 minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
