Instructions

How to Make Savory Sausage and Cabbage Stir Fry

  • Slice the sausage into 1/4 to 1/2-inch rounds for even cooking.
  • In a skillet, add 1 tablespoon of oil and sear the sausage until browned, about 3-5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • Lower heat and add remaining oil; sauté onion until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Add chopped cabbage and bell pepper; stir and cook for 8-10 minutes until cabbage is tender and caramelized.
  • Return sausage to skillet; season with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Cook for another 3-5 minutes to blend flavors.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve hot.
