Equipment

  • Crockpot

Ingredients

For the Beef

  • 3 pounds Chuck Roast Main protein providing rich flavor.
  • 2 cups Beef Broth Can substitute with vegetable broth.
  • 1 packet Ranch Seasoning Mix Savory, tangy flavor.
  • 1 packet Au Jus Gravy Mix Enhances depth of flavor.

  • 12 pieces Slider Buns (Hawaiian Rolls) Soft and sweet.
  • 12 slices Provolone Cheese Can substitute with mozzarella or pepper jack.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by placing the chuck roast in your crockpot. Pour the beef broth over it to keep the roast moist and flavorful during the cooking process.
  • Sprinkle the ranch seasoning and au jus mix evenly over the beef, ensuring it's well-coated.
  • Scatter the pepperoncini peppers around the roast and top with pats of unsalted butter.
  • Cover the crockpot and set it to cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.
  • Once done, shred the beef in the crockpot using two forks and let it soak in its juices for an additional 15 minutes.
  • Slice the slider buns in half and layer the shredded beef on the bottom half, then place a slice of provolone cheese on top.
  • For an extra touch, bake the sliders in a preheated oven at 350°F for 5 minutes, until the cheese melts.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding caramelized onions as an optional topping.
