How to Make Quick and Delicious 35-Minute Tuna Noodle Casserole

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and generously grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Boil salted water in a large pot; cook the egg noodles until al dente, about 6-7 minutes.
  • Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in the flour for about 1 minute.
  • Stir in the milk gradually until thickened (about 3-4 minutes), then add cheddar cheese and whisk until melted.
  • Combine cooked egg noodles with flaked tuna, peas, and cheese sauce in a large bowl and mix well.
  • Pour the noodle mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  • Melt the remaining tablespoon of butter and mix with the breadcrumbs, then sprinkle over the casserole.
