For the Shrimp

  • 1 lb Large Shrimp Peeled and deveined

For the Sauce

  • 4 cloves Fresh Garlic Minced
  • 4 tbsp Butter Regular or substitute with ghee or vegan butter
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream For a luxurious sauce
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice Optional but recommended

For the Rice

  • 4 cups Cooked Rice Warm white jasmine, brown, or cauliflower rice

For Garnish

  • 1/4 cup Fresh Herbs Chopped parsley or thyme

  • Thaw your shrimp if frozen, then pat them dry with a paper towel. Season them generously with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and slightly golden. Remove and set aside.
  • Lower the heat and melt the remaining butter in the same skillet. Sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the cream, grated parmesan, and lemon juice. Let it simmer for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Add the sautéed shrimp back into the sauce and toss to coat, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until heated through.
  • Spoon warm cooked rice onto plates, generously top with the creamy shrimp and sauce, and finish with fresh herbs or lemon zest.

Notes

Optional: Garnish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for extra brightness.
