Preparation Steps

  • Prepare the peas by rinsing frozen peas under cold water until thawed or blanch fresh peas for 1-2 minutes and cool in cold water.
  • Dice the red onion and cube the cheddar cheese into small, bite-sized pieces. Cook bacon until crispy and crumble into smaller bits if using.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
