How to Make Creamy Dreamier Than Spaghetti

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until golden.
  • Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes to slightly thicken.
  • Stir in the freshly grated parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is luscious.
  • Toss the drained spaghetti into the skillet, adding reserved pasta water gradually for creaminess.
  • Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss to evenly mix.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and extra parmesan if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a fresh twist, squeeze a bit of lemon juice over the dish just before serving.
